Miniverse — Sandy Shores

A tiny coastal world in a portable HEXpod by HyBee3D. Sandy Shores includes a sculpted shoreline, beach towel, seashell, and ducky floaty.

Display the HEXpod upright or open it flat. Magnetic options let you connect it with other Miniverse environments. It is designed around separately sourced mini flexi animals approximately 30 mm at their largest dimension.

Print at 0.2 mm layer height without supports. A multi-material system is not required for the main build; the ducky's eyes can be finished with a marker or paint instead.

Assembly requires glue. The original magnetic design uses 8 × 2 mm disc magnets, with two magnets in each deep closure hole. Fit the magnets before the base and lid inserts, and check polarity. An alternative case encloses 20 × 5 × 2 mm bar magnets; reduced-magnet case options and AMS-friendly lid parts are also included in v1.2.

Assemble and glue the back pieces of the top insert outside the case so they are not accidentally glued to it. A Master Magnet STL is included as a polarity guide: pause before its first bridge layer, insert four 8 × 2 mm magnets, and resume printing.
